lords_of_acid (who also goes by "Springs1", though I'm unsure which name came first) was last seen by yours truly on my own livejournal.
See, I've been a server for many years. Like so many of us, I've done just about every job in a restaurant. So, when my girlfriend's mother introduced us to this nutjob, we immediately googled her and found many, many pages of her nonsense.
Of course we then felt the need to livejournal about it. Low and behold, who would appear shortly after?! She stalked and harassed us until someone else blew smoke up her skirt and she ran away once more.
Maybe she's a unicorn. A very angry, very uninformed, unicorn. You see her for a brief time and then *POOF!* away she goes to frolic with the other mythical creatures.
*EDIT*
I see a post on here from her in late July, I should've searched before posting. Ah well, doesn't change the fact. =P

Also, I just went through my LJ to find the entry where The Unicorn went psycho - it's much older than I thought (from Dec. 07!), but still a highly amusing read. I eventually had to lock the entry to get her to go away - but I've brought it back out for our enjoyment today.

I like to eat out and then BITCH ABOUT IT and get free stuff!!1111!! It IS a great way to get free meals and RESTAURANTS like APPLEBEE'S, Copelands and most of all CHILIS!!1!!!! Sometimes I TIP, but MOST OF the time I LEAVE the server WITH ****A**** BAD taste in her mouth (AND probably in mine, too.!11!! Do COOKS really "drop" steaks?)???!! I like to harass people online and stalk them on their personal space.!!!1! I know everything ABOUT the restuarant business!!1!11!1!1 I worked in a donut shop and so I *****KNOW**** EVERYTHING about the service INDUSTRY!!!11! I like white russians, long island teas ******AND***** PINA coladas.!1!!!111 IF A bartender TALKS to ANYONE or STOPS to clean UP, I wont tip them!!!1!!!! THEY ARE taking up MY time! My!1!111 time is more IMPORTANT that anyones.!111!!!1 Without it I would NOT be ABLE TO HARASS these HARD working folks, get *****SOME****** OF them fired, and then REAP the BENEFITS and eat the FREE food!!1!!!!

NO ONE SAID THAT THE FOOD COULDN’T COME OUT FIRST THAT WAS DONE FIRST! What my MAIN POINT is, if the server has some things on the tray for different tables, if they could CHOOSE the tables that ordered FIRST to hand their stuff to them first and second to the people that ordered second. I NEVER SAID ANYTHING about if let’s say the waitress brought out the couples salads in a separate trip. I would totally understand that if she would have brought the salads in a separate trip. What my point is, if you have other tables things on a tray, you have a CHOICE to hand it in the order the people ordered in.
An true example: My husband and I ordered just mozzerella sticks and just drinks. The waiter had went to the next table to get their order, which at least consisted of an appetizer. The waiter had BOTH on his tray. He DECIDED ALL ON HIS OWN to hand the lady her soup BEFORE our mozzerella sticks even through we were seated, greeted, and even ORDERED those mozzerella sticks BEFORE they did. If the lady’s soup was ready and he would have brought it out a minute or 2 before our mozzerella sticks, that’s fine. What I am pissed about is that, since both are brought out at the same exaxt time, that when that happens, the server should have COMMON DECENCY to hand it in the order he took the orders in to be FAIR.
The other situation of the Outback waiter that got triple sat. He brought out all 3 table’s drinks. We had gotten seated and greeted first out of all the tables. The waiter hands a lady at the second table HERS first. With soft drinks, water, or tea, these are within the server’s control at most restaurants, so what I am saying is, he had all of them on the tray, but decided all on his own to be UNFAIR to hand the second table one of theirs BEFORE the people that ordered first, waited the longest for a table out of the other 2 tables, ordered first, and got greeted first.
NOW, just maybe, you understand. It’s NOT that I care if the couple at Red Lobster would have gotten their salads before we did if she would have brought them in a separate trip. The fact is, since she brought out all of that on one tray, in one trip, she had a **CHOICE** to HAND THE FOOD IN THE ORDER IN WHICH IT WAS TAKEN IN. THE SERVER HAS CONTROL OVER BEING FAIR AND UNFAIR TO CUSTOMER’S WAITS!
Another scenario, which this one was at Applebee’s. The waitress was triple sat. Again, we were the first table she got our orders from. She comes back with all the drinks at once, but DECIDES to hand the THIRD TABLE THEIR DRINKS, THEN THE SECOND, AND THEN THE FIRST. HOW RUDE IS THAT, YOU KNOW! So the THIRD TABLE gets to wait 7-10 seconds LESS just because they were LAST. GEE, HOW FAIR IS THAT? I understand why she did it so she could just take our order when she brought us ours, but HONESTLY, she could have just simply said she’d be right back to deliver the rest of the drinks and came back to us right after. She could have said she’d be right back after delivering the second table’s drinks and then the same thing for the third table. It’s NOT like customers are BLIND that they can’t see the server serving 3 tables almost all at once. My point is, she had a *CHOICE* to hand those drinks in the order in which they were TAKEN IN. She let the third table cut in front of us. The second table would have been the same basically, because they were second, regardless. I think all 3 tables in that situation had just 2 people. Whatever happened to treating people the way you’d like to be treated just as when you are in a line waiting? If you don’t want someone else to CUT in front of you, DON’T DO IT TO SOMEONE ELSE! As you said “common sense 101″, well I call it both that and “common decency 101.” It’s common sense that people expect to be served in the order in which they came in if possible, which with soft drinks, water, and tea, they ARE POSSIBLE, unless of course there are problems such as no tea made or low on syrup for the soft drink.
There’s NEVER a reason, EVER, to hand someone that ordered last, to be handed theirs FIRST, EVER! |

Do you really think her myspace is really her or someone pretending to be her? It seems just so over the top. I'm starting to wonder, especially since she seems to have developed a reputation around the net. If she shows up, then I'm sure she would say if it wasn't her.

Of the 15+ years of waiting tables, I have never come across someone like this. I've had my share of weirdos, but this does seem a bit over the top. Not sure what the purpose is though. Pushing buttons? Getting people to respond to you? Getting servers upset?
You would think someone has a reason for this.
Or it could be plain insanity. |

As for Springs1, I've tried luring it back out into the open - unless Springs1 happens to be commenter "Billy Bob" on my site - I'm under the impression her husband may have smacked her down and divorced her for embarrassing behaviour. |
