Here's some great Christmas Fun....a Christmas getting to know you. Have
fun filling it out, I can't wait to hear your responses!!!
1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot Chocolate
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? He wraps the
presents, and sets out the "big item"
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? White lights all around!
4. Do you hang mistletoe? Yes!
5. When do you put your decorations up? House is decorated for Christmas by Thanksgiving... it gets "turned on/lit up" Thanksgiving Day
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? For Chrismas we do a medium rare London Broil andlobster tails too!! YUM YUM YUM!!!!
7. Favorite Christmas memory as a child: Finding where Santa HID the gifts
8. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Yes, but just ONE!
9. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? Lots of ornaments, lots of lights, and an angel on top for our main tree and a REAL tree at that! and then infront of the door I haqve the "kids tree" it's a 5 ft. fake tree with all matching gingerbread type decor and I set up all the animated stuff under neath it and around it... Santa in his Sleigh Mrs. Clause A dancing frosty etc etc
10. Snow! Love it or Dread it? love the first snow, love it when there's enough snow for the Annual Tobagon Run in our front yard but can't stand it when it all starts to melt and gets all black, dirty and slushy
11. Can you ice skate? It has been a loooong time, but with my back I can't anymore. I took lessons as a little girl and can master skating backwards better than forwards
12. Do you remember your favorite gift? my horse stable and plastic horses when I was little (would kill to have them now!!)
13. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Spending good quality fun realxing time with my 3 boys!
14. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? chocolate dipped pretzels
15. What is your favorite tradition? Decorating the house, making a gingerbread house or cookies with the kids, putting out cookies, milk and reindeer food....... and watching 24 hours of the Christmas Story!!! Starting a new tradition this year and having the boys take one gift to a sick kid at the hospital, we were going to do for the needy but I think the hospital is what we'll do this year.
16. What tops your tree? a gold really ugly angel handmade with blonde hair, it was my step moms growing up, and she passed it to me... it's like 50 some years old. (and you can tell)
17. Which do you prefer giving or Receiving? giving.... the surprise of giving to one who doesn't expect it is just PRICELESS!! But I do LOVE recieving the gifts my kids make each year at school!!! You can tell thier work comes from the heart!!
18. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Ave Maria and Silent Night (anything from Harry Connick Jr's Christmas CD)

4. Do you hang mistletoe? No.
5. When do you put your decorations up? Well.... not at all this year, since I'm moving next week.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? If it's not dessert, then it's not a favorite.
7. Favorite Christmas memory as a child: Atari 2600!
8. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? We open almost all of ours on Christmas Eve now, everybody is at the in-laws on Christmas Day (I'm the only singleton left in the family).
9. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? See #5.
10. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Love snow. I love every single flake.
11. Can you ice skate? Yes. Will be skating at Millenium Park between Christmas and NYE
12. Do you remember your favorite gift? Fuzzy Pumper Barber Shop
13. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Spending good quality time with the family
14. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Mom's cookies. Tiny sandwich cookies that are sort of flaky and have a very creamy filling
15. What is your favorite tradition? Christmas Eve with the extended family, everybody brings an ornament every year, and we keep all of them for next year's tree (then you take hom the ones from last year)
16. What tops your tree? Nothing! My tree is the best, it can't be topped!
17. Which do you prefer giving or Receiving? Both
18. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Silent Night and Good King Wenceslas, or maybe God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. Also, Gloria Estefan "Want to see Christmas Through Their Eyes" and (Is it John Lennon?) "And so this is Christmas".

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Santa is an idea of the past for me
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? None?
4. Do you hang mistletoe? No.
5. When do you put your decorations up? The more you put up, the more you have to take down.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? If it's not dessert, then it's not a favorite.<---- Me too, haha. But I can't get enough turkey/cranberry sauce. and stove top stuffing mmmm
7. Favorite Christmas memory as a child: Atari 2600! <---- For me it was a Playstation, LOL. They were new, I was around 12
8. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Only once did I open presents early, before a vacation to arizona.
9. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? With love. Have so many random ornaments made from everyone, and from me back in girl guides.
10. Snow! Love it or Dread it? HATE it. Only since I became a truck owner and my ignition freezes/snow covers my vehicle a lot in the winter. Before that, sledding was fun.
11. Can you ice skate? Actually, no. I used to be able to, now it's just awkward.
12. Do you remember your favorite gift? Tequila (my quaker parrot). It wasn't so much a gift as money to go buy her, but it was still on Christmas and she's still my special bird
13. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Spending good quality time with the family <---- Ditoo Westley

15. What is your favorite tradition? We all come together and discuss how frivilous christmas is when there are needy children throughout the world.

White lights, coloured lights...whatever gets put up.

No.

December 12th. The whole "12 days of Christmas" thing.

Jello salad. Mmm.
7. Favorite Christmas memory as a child:
Waking up to find my Dad home. (parents were divorcing)
8. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
Yes, but just ONE!
9. How do you decorate your Christmas tree?
I don't. My job is to put the lights and popcorn garland on. After that, the kids decorate it with ornaments they've made/gotten over the years.
10. Snow! Love it or Dread it?
I'd like it if it only came once and then went away.
11. Can you ice skate?
Nope.
12. Do you remember your favorite gift?
My Nintendo...which I still have, (and it still works!) almost 20 years later.
13. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?
Creating better memories for my kids than I had.
14. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?
Key Lime bars.
15. What is your favorite tradition?
Watching The Nutcracker ballet with the kids.
16. What tops your tree?
A star that isn't lit. I searched for ages for the right star, and finally found one that does not light up.
17. Which do you prefer giving or Receiving?
I love giving the kids things...this year, I bought my eldest a microscope.
18. What is your favorite Christmas Song?
Ave Maria and O Holy Night.
19. Candy Canes! yuck or yummy?
Depends on the flavour. Traditional ones? yeah. Some odd fruit-bubble gum-pesto flavoured ones? Gross.
