I have been trying to justify why we respond to anal people (lords for example) who have never done what we do. It's like beating a dead horse! They don't understand the difference between fast food and take out and sitting in a restaurant and acting like humans. And although we have many friends that we love and agree to disagree with these trolls come here and make us so mad we have to respond. I think they take the short bus here. There is no way they couldn't have. Same questions and answers over and over again. I am so tired of being called names by people that don't know what we do. People that don't want to understand that we go to work to make money. And why we do what we do. No McDonalds and KFC and Burger King are not supposed to be compared to Outback. Not even close! When the ones that have something to say pro or con that deserves a response some fool comes along and makes us mad and we forget they don't have a clue... try to explain it to them and again they make us even madder! I have never met any harder working people than in the restaurant industry. No NOT fast food... (and I know they work for their money also) When Lords works as a server and a cook and an expo and a bartender and a hostess at a Chili's or an Applebee's...... then I will take her responses seriously. Until then I will beat her anal anal anal crap into the ground and be mean and uncaring! I have too many friends here to be chased away for long but I really am tired of the idiot calling names and people running us into the ground for being hard working servers ect...I have never looked down on anyone trying to make a living. No matter where they work. Why are restaurant employees picked on so much? Okay rant over......... Anyone need a beer? |

i second that beer....i guess we just really want to b**** slap them, but we can't. and then of course you have that same type of people that once in a blue moon come into the restaurant with the same attitude as the looser trolls and you have to be careful of what you say, well careful of how you say it cause i rarely keep my mouth shut, of course i tend to do it with a big smile and fake enthusiasm. all the time if you do not tip me your food will be handed to you after all of my paying customers get their food, i won't verify your stuff, and i won't try to remember that you needed 6 sides of ranch instead of 3. you pay for quality service. |

coors, I will have to say I have never met anyone who has so much hatred for servers. Little does it realize that if it would try to be nice and maybe buddy up a little with a server/bartender they may just go way above and beyond what their duties are. This would make its visit much nicer, but it is too stupid or stubborn to realize that. Im sure we have all been victims of the rude guest, how do you handle it? Do the bare minimum, avoid the table, get em out as fast as possible. Now for the guest that treats you respectfully and is nice, we go all out and try to make them happy. So naturally it always has bad service, or most of the time. My attitude is why bother to try because this table is going to find something wrong, might as well make it easy for them. Put your energies into a table that can be made happy. Formerly Jammie

Instead of a beer, I think that I will drink a whole bottle of Smirnoff. |
