At my old restaurant we had a caesar salad on the menu for $9. It was in a big salad bowl. Sometimes people would say we would like to split that as an appetizer. So I would say that for $4 a piece you can have your own individual side caesar. not once did anyone ever say no. It would save them $1 but even better than that they wouldn't have to share a plate they could have their own. Many servers have knowledge that can help you. You need understand they're not trying to waste your time and most people appreciatte the tidbits of info. |
