The court made a very unconstitutional determination that businesses could deprive the customer of his right to determine who will be the recipient of his tip. Any tip presented by a customer in California is now deemed to be that which belongs to those who give direct setvice to the customer whether the customer intends to tip all those who give direct service or not.
